In the company TŘINECKÉ ŽELEZÁRNY a.s. a pilot coke oven, which was designed, delivered and commissioned by the general contractor of the HUTNÍ PROJEKT Frýdek-Místek a.s.
The experimental coke oven is a device used to model the coal batch quality and the behavior of the batch in the coke chamber and to investigate the impact of the batch on the quality of the coke produced and on the quality and composition of the coke gas.
Parameters of experimental coke oven
The coke production capacity is about 11 tons / year. Dimensions of the carbon prism in the experimental coke chamber: width 280 mm, height 500 mm, length between door 480 mm, useful volume of coal prism 0.0672 m3.
